PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a designability without degrading recognizability of a detection region by a user in an operation part.SOLUTION: A heating cooker includes: a top plate 32 of a plate-like member arranged on the upper surface of a housing and having an electrical insulation property; a print part 36 having characters, marks, pictorial symbols or geometric shapes printed thereon, a detection part 38 of a conductor, and a connection terminal 42 coming into contact with the detection part 38 for electrically connecting the detection part 38 to a control part 40 which are located in an operation part 34 arranged on the top plate 32; wherein the border line 44 of the detection part should coincide with the front and rear ends and right and left ends of the characters, marks and pictorial symbols or geometric shapes, or be arranged in the vicinities of the outside when viewing the print part 36 from the user side.
