Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR cooler which increases a heat transfer area when heat of exhaust gas is transferred to cooling water and, thereby, provides satisfactory heat transfer efficiency.SOLUTION: An EGR cooler 1 includes a first pipe body 5 made of metal arranged in a casing 2 and a second pipe body 6 made of metal arranged on an inner side of the first pipe body 5. Exhaust gas G is circulated through a first fluid passage 3 in the first pipe body 5 and, at the same time, cooling water W is circulated through a second fluid passage 4 in the second pipe body 6 and composed of a space 15 communicated with the second pipe body. The exhaust gas G which is circulated through the interior of the first fluid passage 3 comes into contact with not only an inner surface of the first pipe body 5 but also an outer surface of the second pipe body 6 and a fin 25 and heat of the exhaust gas G is transferred to the cooling water W via them.
