PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of fouling at an initial time of starting of a filtering step after chemical washing when subjecting a ceramic membrane to chemical washing using an acidic washing agent.SOLUTION: When washing liquid-added back washing processing is completed, an alkali solution or an anionic solution in a processing solution tank 17 is supplied from a secondary side to a primary side of a ceramic membrane module 51, and alkali processing or anion-adding processing of the ceramic membrane module 51 is performed. Specifically, in this processing, by driving a processing solution pump 18, the alkali solution or the anionic solution in the processing solution tank 17 is supplied from the secondary side to the primary side of the ceramic membrane module 51 via a processing solution injection valve 19, and the ceramic membrane module 51 is immersed in the alkali solution or the anionic solution over a prescribed period of time.
