Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift device for a vehicle operable by a driver without a sense of incongruity.SOLUTION: A shift device 10 for a vehicle includes a support part 11 immovably fixed to the vehicle such as a center console 50, a first operation part (a pressing type switch SW and an installation part 12) capable of outputting a first operation signal by detecting first operation of a hand of a driver in the first direction to the rear of the vehicle from the front of the vehicle, and a second operation part (a pressing type switch SW and the installation part 12) capable of outputting a second operation signal by detecting second operation of the hand of the driver in the second direction to the front of the vehicle from the rear of the vehicle. The first operation signal and/or the second operation signal can shift a travel mode such as a P mode, an R mode, an N mode and a D mode of the vehicle.
