Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely perform a subsequent running, even if a key switch is operated by mistake in the running.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle includes: a running device 12 necessary for running; an electrical control unit 14 for controlling the running device 12; and a key switch 16 for originating operation signals to start or stop the electrical control unit 14. A vehicle speed detection means 22 for detecting a running speed is installed, and is configured such that the started electrical control unit 14 does not stop until the vehicle speed detecting means 22 detects that the running speed is below the predetermined value regardless of the presence of the operation signal from the key switch 16. The power steering apparatus is included in the running device 12.
