UPPER PART STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an upper part structure of a vehicle body that can prevent thermal strain of a resin roof panel, and ensure steering stability of the vehicle body.SOLUTION: An upper part structure 20 of a vehicle body includes: a right and left pair of roof side rails 22 disposed on both sides of a vehicle 10 along a vehicle longitudinal direction; and a reinforcing panel 24 provided between the roof side rails 22 and extending along a vehicle width direction and the vehicle longitudinal direction, and bonded to the roof side rails 22 with a strong first adhesive 50. The structure is also provided with a resin-made roof panel 26 at an upper part of the vehicle than the reinforcing panel 24 between the roof side rails 22, and extending along the vehicle width direction and the vehicle longitudinal direction, wherein the roof panel 26 is bonded to the reinforcing panel 24 with a second adhesive 52 softer than the first adhesive 50.
