Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex oxide catalyst used for producing a conjugated diene such as butadiene at a high yield and high selectivity by a catalytic oxidative dehydrogeneration reaction of a 4C or above monoolefin such as n-butene.SOLUTION: This complex oxide catalyst is used when producing a conjugated diene by a gas-phase catalytic oxidative dehydrogeneration reaction from a mixed gas containing a 4C or above monoolefin and oxygen. In the complex oxide catalyst for producing the conjugated diene, the composition of the complex oxide catalyst is represented by composition formula (1), and an acid amount in the catalyst is 0.010 mol/kg or below.
