PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process signal acquisition technique that allows monitoring of plant conditions to be continued even if an existing process computer for processing a process signal becomes unusable.SOLUTION: A process signal acquisition device 20 includes a temporary terminal 32 (32A, 32B...) connected to a sensor cable 19 extracted from a normal input device 21, an A/D conversion unit 33 that converts an analog signal input to the temporary terminal 32 into a digital signal, a terminal ID imparting unit 34 that imparts a terminal ID for identifying the temporary terminal 32 to the digital signal, and a transmission unit 35 that transmits the digital signal with the imparted terminal ID to the outside.
