Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material testing machine which monitors fluctuation in test force appearing before starting a test and eliminates influence of noise appearing before starting the test, thereby allowing improvement in accuracy of test force data during the test.SOLUTION: A control part 33 comprises: a setting switch part 61 to switch on and off a test force fluctuation monitoring function; a test force fluctuation monitoring part 70 to monitor test force fluctuation; a message processing part 62; and a storage part 63. The test force fluctuation monitoring part 70 has a test force fluctuation determination part 71, and monitors the test force fluctuation by using the test force fluctuation determination part 71 to determine whether the test force fluctuation is such fluctuation as permits the test to be started.
