Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly for insertion/removal in a freeze dryer, the assembly that can significantly reduce an entire installation area size of the freeze dryer.SOLUTION: An assembly is provided for insertion of a vial into a chamber of a freeze dryer and/or removal thereof from the chamber of the freeze dryer, the assembly having a bar for engaging with a vial, and a moving means for making a vial move laterally and related to the bar, wherein at least part of the moving means is wound around a wheel at least by 180 degrees at a retracted position of the bar, and the assembly having a drive means for rotating the wheel for releasing the moving means from the wheel and allowing the bar to move, and a guide means for guiding the moving means during rotation of a sprocket.
