Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-factor improvement circuit with a plurality of main switching elements, capable of suppressing power loss by changing the number of the main switching elements driven correspondingly to a load.SOLUTION: The power-factor improvement circuit, which improves a power factor of DC power input from a rectification circuit, includes a plurality of main switching elements connected in parallel to an input from the rectification circuit. A part of the plurality of main switching elements are made to serve as power-factor improvement circuits for stopping driving according to a high/low load. The rectification circuit is a full-wave rectifier circuit that converts an AC commercial power supply into a DC power supply or a semi-bridgeless circuit that converts an AC commercial power supply into a DC power supply. |
