Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock device for preventing the latch release of a door due to side collision.SOLUTION: In a door lock device 10, even when an outside open lever 17 is pressed to the interior surface side of a door due to side collision, an engagement part 17E of the outside open lever 17 is butted to a regulation part 85 of a sheet metal cover 93 fixed to the edge wall of the door so that the forward movement of the outside open lever 17 can be regulated. Thus, it is possible to prevent the latch release of the door due to the side collision of a vehicle which used to become a problem in a conventional door lock device.
