Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable sulfur-containing epoxy compound hardly causing cloudiness when being preserved at room temperature, and to provide a method for producing the compound.SOLUTION: The sulfur-containing epoxy compound has a turbidity value of ≤10 ppm when formed into a 30 mass% methanol solution after preserved for 30 days at 25°C in a glass bottle in a nitrogen atmosphere, and is represented by the formula. The method for producing the sulfur-containing epoxy compound uses epichlorohydrin having a turbidity value of ≤1.0 ppm when formed into a 30 mass% methanol solution, and hydrogen sulfide or a polythiol compound. (In the formula, m is an integer of 0-4; and n is an integer of 0 or 1).
