Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a curb box is easily rusted by rain drops or muddy water from vehicle tires because it is installed in a curb part of a toll gate, and that the curb box is damaged by a tire collision while a transmission channel loses its function and the curb box is projected onto a vehicle passage from the installation position, consequently possibly causing unexpected accident by collision of a subsequent vehicle, therefore the curb box preferably has a simple structure and is easy to detach.SOLUTION: In an installation structure of a transmission channel protective cover in a curb part, a timbering body (8) is installed in a storage part (7) appearing in the curb part, a transmission channel of an apparatus (2) is guided from an island (1) of a toll gate and installed on a vehicle passage side through the storage part, the protective cover (6) arranged in the curb part (5) on the side where the transmission channel (3) of the apparatus (2) installed in the island (1) of the toll gate extends in a direction of traversing a vehicle passage (4) from the island (1) is engaged with the timbering body, and the transmission channel is covered and stored in the storage part. Thereafter a caulking material is filled between the protective cover and the opposing surface of the storage part. The method is a construction method for the structure.
