DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling an elevator which can properly determine a replacement cycle of a battery for landing operation.SOLUTION: A device for controlling an elevator includes: a control power supply blocking means (22) operable to activate and block power to a motor (9); a test mode implement means (23) for allowing a battery (2) to supply power so as to allow a car (11) to be landed when the power supply to the motor (9) from a commercial main power supply (1) is blocked by the control power supply blocking means (22); a maximum traveling distance between floors storing means (25) for storing a maximum traveling distance between floors (31) during landing operation; a voltage value storing means (27) for storing voltage values V1, V2 of the battery (2) before and after the landing operation; and a battery remaining life determination means (26) for determining whether to replace the battery (2) based on the voltage values V1, V2.
