PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan motor which enables an AC/DC converter to be disposed at a position that is not likely to block airflow and makes a substrate and electronic components watertight with a small number of materials.SOLUTION: A housing 50A of a fan motor 1A includes: a base part holding a stationary part of a motor 10A at the upper side in an axial direction; and a case part 51A which extends forming a cylindrical shape below the base part in the axial direction. Further, an AC/DC converter substrate 40A is disposed in an internal space of the case part 51A. Thus, the AC/DC converter substrate 40A is not likely to block airflow. In addition, a resin material fills at least a part of the internal space of the case part. Surfaces of the AC/DC converter substrate 40A and an electronic component 41A are covered by the resin material. This structure protects the AC/DC converter substrate and the electronic component from water droplets.
