SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MERGING SOURCE RECORD BASED ON EXISTENCE RULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and mechanism for efficiently and accurately processing and/or merging input data records.SOLUTION: A plurality of source records are received from a plurality of data sources, and each source record includes a plurality of fields. It is determined that a match group of source records from different data sources is associated with the same entity, and a single optimal record is automatically created on the basis of a field value. This creation includes: allocating fields of a first set to a first existence group associated with a first existence rule, and allocating fields of a second set to a second existence group associated with a second existence rule. All the records in the match group are simultaneously ranked on the basis of the first and second existence rules by using a single query, and the optimal record is stored for other applications.
