TRAFFIC FLOW SIMULATION DEVICE AND TRAFFIC FLOW SIMULATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform highly reliable traffic flow simulation by using a traveling time acquired on a road in a congested state.SOLUTION: A virtual traveling time calculation part 30 performs simulation about a road in a specific block on the basis of road structure data and a traffic flow parameter, and calculates an ideal traveling time from a traveling time on passage through the specific block. Then, an update traffic volume parameter update part 40 estimates a demand traffic volume approximating to an actual traffic volume on the basis of the obtained ideal traveling time and the actual traveling time measured on the road in the specific block, and acquires an update traffic volume parameter by correcting a traffic volume parameter on the basis of the estimated demand traffic volume. Then, a traffic flow simulation part 50 performs traffic flow simulation by using the road structure data, the traffic flow parameter and the update traffic volume parameter.
