Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle component and a door lock device capable of improving the quietness of a vehicle.SOLUTION: In a door lock device 100 of the present invention, in the state that a side face cover 70 is fixed to a first supporting base 51 of a door lock device body 10, a latch module 60 is fixed to a second supporting base 55 neighboring the first supporting base 51 out of the device body 10 with bolts 56B, 56B so that one side part 60A of the latch module 60 is joined to one side part 70A of the side face cover 70 while being pushed thereagainst. Front end faces 77T, 77T of butting shaft bodies 77, 77 projecting from the one side part 70A of the side face cover 70 toward the one side part 60A of the latch module 60 butt against butted faces 66, 66 provided on the one side part 60A of the latch module 60 via grease. On the front end faces 77T, 77T of the butting shaft bodies 77, 77, irregularities are formed to hold the grease.
