Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a seismic isolation laminated rubber or a vibration-proof rubber, excellent in processing stability and tensile stress characteristics, and to provide a seismic isolation and vibration damping device using the composition.SOLUTION: The rubber composition used for a seismic isolation laminated rubber or a vibration-proof rubber includes, based on 100 pts.mass of a rubber component including natural rubber: 10-35 pts.mass of carbon black in which an arithmetic average particle diameter is 40-200 nm, an iodine absorption amount is 10-40 mg/g, and a DBP absorption amount is 20-100 cm/100 g; and 0.05-0.60 pt.mass of N-cyclohexylthiophthalimide. The seismic isolation and vibration damping device includes a rubber molding formed by subjecting the rubber composition to vulcanization molding.
