Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use of a substrate in a solar cell, the solar cell itself, and a solar cell module, i.e., a transparent substrate comprising an electrode a part of which comprises the substrate.SOLUTION: There is provided a glass substrate (1) comprising an electrode that comprises at least one metal oxide-based transparent conducting layer (3). The transparent conducting layer (3) has a RMS surface roughness of at least 3 nm, especially at least 5 nm, and/or has a mean value of a surface roughness pattern size of at least 50 nm.
