X-RAY IMAGING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS FOR MEDICAL USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus and an image processing apparatus for medical use capable of supporting the placement of an artificial valve in an appropriate direction in a substitution technique for an aortic valve.SOLUTION: The X-ray imaging apparatus related to an embodiment includes: an angle acquiring unit; and an imaging unit. The angle acquiring unit acquires the angle of inclination of the aorta of a subject to be examined on a reference image. The imaging unit displays the X-ray image by rotating the angle so that the running direction of the aorta becomes horizontal or vertical based on the angle of inclination of the aorta. In addition, the image processing apparatus for medical use related to the embodiment includes: an angle acquiring unit; and a display controlling unit. The angle acquiring unit acquires the angle of inclination of the aorta of the subject to be examined on the reference image. The displaying controlling unit rotates the angle so that the running direction of the aorta becomes horizontal, vertical or in a predetermined direction corresponding to a handle technique based on the angle of inclination of the aorta, to display the X-ray image.
