Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for transmitting and receiving data upon electric vehicle charging, which can be utilized by not only performing charging but also transmitting various information required for the vehicle via power line communication, or receiving the information stored in the vehicle upon electric vehicle charging.SOLUTION: The system includes: an expected charging time analysis module configured to calculate expected charging time based on an immediately preceding SOC value obtained through CAN communication when charging of the electric vehicle is started; a transmittable or receivable data discrimination module that is configured to determine a size of transmittable data by considering transmission speed based on information obtained through the expected charging time analysis module; communication equipment which enables data to be transmitted and received between the vehicle and a center; a first data storage unit provided within the vehicle, and configured to store telematics related data; a second data storage unit provided within the center, and configured to store the telematics related data; and an output unit which is configured to output information related to data, which is determined by the transmittable or receivable data discrimination module.
