POWER QUALITY MONITORING DEVICE IN RAILROAD POWER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power quality monitoring device in a railroad power system.SOLUTION: The power quality monitoring device 2 in a railroad power system includes: voltage detection units 6, 12 and current detection units 8, 14, which are individually installed in power supply destinations and on a load side and detect voltage values and current values; a signal input unit 16 for receiving the input of an applied signal; a signal conversion unit 18 for converting an applied analog signal into a digital signal; a memory comprised of a data storage unit 26 for storing received data in real time and a data recording unit 24 for recording collected data; a display unit 32 for outputting monitored data on a screen; and a control unit 20. The control unit receives the application of the current values and voltage values, which are individually detected in the power supply destinations and on the load side in real time, monitors the transition of fluctuation thereof, stores the flow of power and the amount of supplied power; and transmits relevant information to remote locations through a communication module 28.
