PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load onto an imaging apparatus which provides an image to the others.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging unit for imaging a subject image to generate main image data; a storage unit for storing the main image data generated by the imaging unit; a reception unit which receives from another imaging apparatus a transmission request of data relating to main image data matching with condition data and the condition data; a determination unit which with the reception of the transmission request by the reception unit as a moment, determines whether the main image data matching with the condition data is stored in the storage unit; and a transmission unit which transmits the main image data determined to match with the condition data by the determination unit, to the imaging apparatus having originated the transmission request.
