Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system which allows an operator to perform selection of a target button image in a short time.SOLUTION: A display system 100 comprises display modes including an area selection mode for selecting any one of a plurality of display areas 60 defined in a display screen 52, and a function selection mode for selecting an icon 63 displayed in a selected display area 69. In an input screen 32 to which the operation of an operator is inputted, a plurality of input areas 70 are defined at the locations corresponding to the respective display areas 60. Inputting into any one of the input areas 70 allows the display mode to be switched to the function selection mode for the display area 69 selected by the input. On this occasion, a selected input area 79 is enlarged so as to define an enlarged input area 74. An operator can input the operation for selecting the icon 63 for the enlarged input area 74.
