DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING COAL BURNING THERMAL POWER PLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for controlling a coal burning thermal power plant capable of controlling the temperature of reheated steam supplied to a second turbine with high accuracy when a load is varied.SOLUTION: The device for controlling the coal burning thermal power plant calculates a rate of a current variation amount WRHp with respect to a total variation amount WRH scheduled in accordance with the variation of a power generation output command regarding a flow rate of steam flowing in a reheater as a reheated steam flow rate variation rate WRHRC when the power generation output command is varied, and calculates a rate of a current variation amount FFp with respect to a total variation amount FF scheduled in accordance with the variation of the power generation output command regarding a supply amount of coal supplied to a boiler as a coal supply amount variation rate FFRC, and corrects a set value of the supply amount of the coal to the boiler set on the basis of the power generation output command based on the difference between the coal supply amount variation rate FFRC and the reheated steam flow rate variation rate WRHRC, and controls the supply amount of the coal to the boiler based on the set value of the corrected supply amount of the coal.
