Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dyestuff and/or pigment-including metal oxide particles, neither easily falling off and eluting the dyestuff and/or pigment nor discoloring (color-changing).SOLUTION: The dyestuff and/or pigment-including metal oxide particles are produced by: (a) preparing metal oxide particle precursor particles by spray drying in hot air flow, a predetermined hydrolyzed polycondensate dispersion of the dyestuff and/or pigment, obtained by dispersing the dyestuff and/or pigment in a specific hydrolyzed polycondensate, in which the average molecular weight of the hydrolyzed polycondensate is in a range of 500 to 100,000, the total solid concentration is in a range of 5 to 100 wt.% and the ratio (C)/(C) of the concentration (C) of the dyestuff and/or pigment as a solid part to the concentration (C) of the hydrolyzed polycondensate as a solid part is in a range of 0.0002 to 2.3; and (b) dry/heat-treating the precursor particles.
