LABEL TRANSFER APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label transfer apparatus which suppresses a drop in the yield of labels while ensuring a proper pasting position of a cut label and a proper cutting spot on a roll label, and hardly invites a drop in the rate of operation of a labeler.SOLUTION: The label transfer apparatus includes a feed roller 9 which transfers a roll label 1, a rotary cutter 10 which cuts the roll label 1, and a transfer drum 11 which sucks and holds a cut label R and transfers the label R to a pasting position P3. The roll label 1 with its front end side in a transfer direction sucked to the transfer drum 11 is cut by the rotary cutter 10, so that the label R can be delivered to the transfer drum 11. The label transfer apparatus is provided with a detecting device 39 which detects information on the cut label R being transferred by the transfer drum 11 and a controller 40 which controls an action of cutting the roll label 1 based on information on the cut label R detected by the detecting device 39.
