When operating a parking brake, a parking brake controller 38 supplies an applying current A larger than an initial current value Ao up to eliminating the predetermined vibration when detecting the predetermined vibration by the strain sensor 37 after supplying the initial current value Ao for imparting minimum pressing force that can stop the vehicle to an electric motor 32.
