GAS COOKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooking device which can be safely used by preventing the leakage of gas from occurring, while simplifying the structure.SOLUTION: While a trivet 10 with a gas burner is placed on a top plate 2 of the cooking device body, the gas cooking device includes: the gas burner 8 which is engaged with a gas supply mechanism 11 in a cooking device body; and a flame control instrument 19 of the gas burner 8; wherein an engagement detection means 13 for detecting the engagement of the gas burner 8 to the gas supply mechanism 11 is provided, the position of the flame control instrument 19 is freely changed into an accommodation position on the lower side than the top plate 2 and a usage position on the upper side than the top plate 2, a position detecting means 20 which detects the usage position is disposed, the engagement detection means 13 detects the engagement of the gas burner 8 to the gas supply mechanism 11, and while the position detecting means 20 detects positional change to the usage position of the flame control instrument 19, combustion gas can be supplied from the gas supply mechanism 11 to the gas burner 8.
