Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening structure for a building, which allows water including leakage water and dew condensation water under an opening frame such as a sash frame to be drained outside, and allows for easy determination whether leakage water is present or not under the opening frame.SOLUTION: An opening frame 2 is attached to an opening 1 of a wall 10 of a building skeleton. A crown molding 5 is arranged on the outer peripheral side of the opening frame 2. The crown molding 5 has a lower side 8 which includes a first piece 11 attached to the surface of the wall 10 on the under side of the opening frame 2 and a second piece 12 detachably attached to the first piece 11. The first piece 11 has a drain part 15 which drains water including leakage water and dew condensation water under the opening frame outside. The second piece 12 has a cover part 12b which covers the upper end of a sheath material 3 on the under side of the opening frame 2, and is thus capable of draining water including leakage water and dew condensation water under the opening frame outside. The second piece is removed to allow for easy determination whether leakage water is present or not under the opening frame with removal of the sheath material under the opening frame.
