Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a bioelectrical impedance measuring apparatus capable of preventing an overcurrent from being applied to a living body by self-diagnosis to be executed prior to measurement of a bioelectrical impedance; a semiconductor device; a control method for the bioelectrical impedance measuring apparatus.SOLUTION: Current supply electrodes 1a, 1b and voltage measuring electrodes 2a, 2b each come in contact with a living body. A current supply unit 11 supplies a current between a terminal T1 and a terminal T2. A voltage measurement unit 12 measures a voltage input to a terminal T3 and a terminal T4. A control circuit 16 causes a switch unit 13 to connect the terminal T1 to a first terminal of a reference resistor 15 and to connect the terminal T2 to a second terminal of the reference resistor 15, causes a switch unit 14 to connect the terminal T3 to the first terminal of the reference resistor 15 and to connect the terminal T4 to the second terminal of the reference resistor 15, and causes the voltage measurement unit 12 to measure a voltage between the terminals T3 and T4, thereby performing self-diagnosis of a path through which a current flows. |
