Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein stress corrosion cracking occurs when three conditions, i.e., a corrosive environment (chlorine ion concentration), material (material quality), and stress (tensile load and fastening force), are fulfilled in a stainless steel fastening part in a salt damage environment, and since a crack is formed in the stainless steel fastening part if the stress corrosion cracking occurs, there is a possibility of resulting in breakage in the end, and in consequence, two adjacent fastened bodies cannot be fixed respectively when losing the fastening force due to the formation of the crack in the stainless steel fastening part.SOLUTION: This method for fastening a stainless steel bolt includes mounting a heat-shrinkable tube 7a of predetermined length to a cylindrical part of the bolt 3, mounting a flat washer 4 through the bolt externally, then allowing the bolt 3 to pass through a fastening part, mounting a flat washer 4 and a nut 5 to the threaded part side of the bolt 3 to fasten the bolt 3, and then filling a silicon-based sealing material 6 to the respective contact parts of the bolt 3, flat washers 4 and nut 5. Thus, a method for preventing stress corrosion cracking of the stainless steel fastening part is provided. |
