METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING JOINED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for manufacturing a joined article, that can flexibly cope with the change of a part and a position of a part to be joined to a vehicle part such as a steering member.SOLUTION: A part 200 to be joined to a steering member base material 100 is held at a holding position by operating a hand robot 1 in accordance with teaching data that has been taught beforehand (S7), the part is photographed by a third camera 22 to obtain an image (S8). The image is compared with a reference image obtained by photographing a joining position between a steering member base material to be a reference and a part by the third camera, and a shift amount of the holding position of the part relative to the joining position in the reference image is determined (S9) on the basis of the comparison result. On the basis of the shift amount determined in step (S9), a correction amount of the holding position of the part for performing the correction to reduce the shift amount of the position of the part is determined (S10). The position of the part is corrected from the holding position (S11) in accordance with the correction amount obtained in (S10), the part is then joined to the steering member base material to form the steering member (S12).
