PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless LAN communication device etc. capable of setting an operation mode by easily and appropriately switching to fit to the use state of the device.SOLUTION: A wireless LAN communication device 10 includes: a LAN port state detection unit 101 for detecting from an electric signal whether or not wired communication is in execution at a LAN port 13 between the device 10 and a client device; a WAN port state detection unit 102 for detecting from an electric signal whether or not wired communication is in execution at a WAN port 14 between the device 10 and the Internet; an operation mode determination unit 104 for determining and instructing the operation mode of radio communication from the LAN port state detected in the LAN port state detection unit and the WAN port state detected in the WAN port detection unit; and a radio communication control unit 103 for reading out from storage means 12 setting information corresponding to the determined operation mode and for operating radio communication means.
