PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in power consumption caused by mounting a circuit for coping with a transmission error, without affecting operation of a device.SOLUTION: An interface block by which a sensing signal output from a sensing block is converted to a preset specified data format and output to another device is configured to: generate error correction information used for correction of an error in the data format; assess whether specified data to be inserted in the data format is currently being generated; and, on the basis of the result of the assessment of whether the specified data to be inserted in the data format is currently being generated, control operation of an error correction information generation unit.
