Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal air battery from which recovery of the solid of a product material in an electrolyte can be easily performed at low cost.SOLUTION: In a metal air battery, an air electrode and a negative electrode are separated by an electrolyte separator having permeability to metal ions of a negative electrode active material, an aqueous electrolyte 2 is filled on the air electrode side of the electrolyte separator, and a nonaqueous electrolyte 5 is filled on the negative electrode side of the electrolyte separator. The metal air battery includes a heating means for making the temperature of the center axis side of a space, where a liquid corresponding to the aqueous electrolyte among an electrolyte on an outer side electrode and an electrolyte on an inner side electrode is filled, to be higher than that of the outer side.
