PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security device capable of calling a user's attention to voice data, text data and image data or the like as message information transmitted from another user of another device or the subject device.SOLUTION: A communication section 32 is connected to an external device via a communication network. A storage section 33 registers information of a user capable of operating a security device 3-1 in advance and stores the presence or absence of a message received via a network by making the message correspond to the user. Collation means 399 collates whether or not a user performing an operation input is registered in the storage section 33. A mode switching section 394 sets a security release mode or a security set mode according to the operation input of the collated user. A user interface control section 395 discriminates whether or not there is a message corresponding to a user collated when the security release mode is set by the mode switching section 394 and causes a display 36 to perform a confirmation guide display output when the presence of the message is determined.
