Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner with an electric unit having improved work efficiency and being disposed on the front face thereof.SOLUTION: In an air conditioner, an electric unit 8 is disposed on the front face side of an indoor unit. The electric unit 8 includes: a base 8b on which a substrate having an electrical component arranged therein is placed; a cover 8d for the base 8b; and a sheet metal cover 8e made of sheet metal and covering the cover 8d. Resin covers 8h are installed at ends of the sheet metal cover 8e. Since the ends of the sheet metal cover 8e are covered with the resin covers 8h, edges at the ends of the cover can be protected, and operation can be performed safely.
