Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas throttle valve that can reduce a reservoir space where an exhaust gas is retained immediately downstream of the exhaust gas throttle valve.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas throttle valve 2 includes a plurality of communication holes 22a-22d, through which exhaust gas can pass, in upper and lower half parts of a valve element 2a, respectively. The central axes of the communication holes 22a-22d tilt at a predetermined angle from a central axis of an exhaust gas passage 16 to a horizontal direction. The communication holes 22a-22d are located at a height parallel to the central axis of the exhaust gas passage 16. The communication holes 22a, 22b in the upper half part and the communication holes 22c, 22d in the lower half part tilt at the predetermined angle to the horizontal direction different from each other.
