Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently repair a carbonization chamber without requiring many operations.SOLUTION: After air distribution between kiln mouths 11a at both ends of a carbonization chamber 11 is inhibited by inserting a support 100 having almost the same height as the carbonization chamber 11 from a coal-charging port 14 of the carbonization chamber 11 into the carbonization chamber 11, coke oven covers 21 at both ends of the carbonization chamber 11 are removed away, thereby opening the kiln mouths 11a at both ends. Then, the furnace wall inside the carbonization chamber 11 is repaired through the kiln mouths 11a at both ends of the carbonization chamber 11. The repairing method permits simultaneous repair from both sides of the carbonization chamber 11. Thus, the carbonization chamber 11 can be efficiently repaired without requiring many operations.
