Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device capable of suppressing generation of moire even in a region where gradation and color are even a flat and a presentation method.SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display device includes: a display panel having a display part where pixels are arranged in matrix; an active lens provided on the front face of the display panel capable of controlling a light beam from the pixels and partially switching a focus state of the display part; a defocus area detection unit for detecting an area for which defocus processing is to be performed from an input image; and a drive unit for driving the active lens to perform defocus processing to the area detected by the defocus area detection unit for which defocus processing is to be performed.
