Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To temporarily place a gusset to be mounted to a roof reinforcement before installation to the roof reinforcement such that the gusset never falls.SOLUTION: A vehicle upper structure 10 includes: a roof reinforcement 22 installed at a lower face side of a roof panel 14 in a vehicle width direction: a gusset 30 of which an inner side in a vehicle width direction is attached to a lower face of the roof reinforcement 22; a claw 36 disposed at an upper face 30A at the inner side of the gusset 30 in the vehicle width direction; and a crank hole 26 formed at the roof reinforcement 22, and in which a claw insertion part 26A having an opening length L1 longer than a length L3 of the claw 36 in the vehicle width direction is connected crank-like with a claw mounting part 26B having an opening length L2 shorter than the length L3 of the claw 36 in the vehicle width direction.
