PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To objectively evaluate a sense of firmness of individual subjects.SOLUTION: A gray-scale image of luminance is obtained in a cheek region of a face image of the subject. When luminance of the gray-scale image is 256 gray scale, a high luminance region and an intermediate luminance region are extracted, where the high luminance region includes a maximum luminance in the gray-scale image and is at a high gray-scale side from a 20th gray scale in the gray scale of the maximum luminance, and the intermediate luminance region has lower luminance than the high luminance region and is at the high gray-scale side from a 40th gray scale in the gray scale of the maximum luminance. Luminance contour lines of the high luminance region and the intermediate luminance region are added to the cheek region of the face image. Any one or more items of an area ratio of the high luminance region to the intermediate region and a boundary length ratio of the intermediate region are displayed together.
