PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow features of an installed cable to be reflected in design.SOLUTION: At the time of wiring design, a design support device 1 reads out from a wiring information storage unit 21 a cable wiring route and wiring conditions in actual wiring that match cable information (a cable name, the shape of a three-dimensional virtual space, and the cross-sectional shape of the three-dimensional virtual space) in the wiring design. The design support device 1 then displays on a display unit 40 the read out cable wiring route and wiring conditions together with a design screen. Consequently, the cable wiring route and wiring conditions (a feature amount indicating features of an installed cable) in the actual wiring can be referred at the time of the wiring design. Therefore, the design support device 1 allows the features of the installed cable to be reflected in the wiring design.
