Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor an enter/exit state of a web fabric on a supply side and a take-up side by a pair of detection means to eliminate defects, such as instability of detection quality or false detection, reliably detect with simpler configuration, and improve reliability of detection.SOLUTION: A heat fixing device includes a cleaning device that brings a web fabric 3 into slide contact with the peripheral surface of a fixing roller 1 to clean the surface, and a pair of discrete-type photosensors 4 for monitoring a use state of the web fabric 3. The pair of discrete-type photosensors 4 is arranged at a position where both a supply side that sends out the web fabric 3 and a take-up side that takes up the web fabric 3 can be detected at the same time.
