Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste material for forming an aluminum electrode which has water resistance and can keep excellent electrode characteristics.SOLUTION: In the solar cell which includes a semiconductor substrate, a light-receiving surface electrode formed on one surface of the semiconductor substrate and an aluminum electrode formed on the other surface side of the semiconductor substrate, phosphorus (P) is contained in the aluminum electrode at a content rate of 30-700 ppm in a form different from that of a glass component. The paste material used for forming the aluminum electrode of the solar cell contains aluminum powder, a glass binding material, an organic vehicle and a phosphorus supply agent containing phosphorus (P) in a chemical composition, and as for a content of the phosphorus supply agent, the phosphorus (P) is contained in the aluminum electrode obtained by baking the paste material at a content rate of 30-700 ppm.
