Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of propylene oxide improved in safety of the production method.SOLUTION: There is disclosed a method for producing propylene oxide by catalytic vapor phase oxidation reaction of propylene with oxygen molecule, including a step of bringing a mixed reactant gas flow into contact with catalyst particles filled with an inert solid as a fixed bed in reaction tubes bound as a bundle in a tubular reactor. Along the flow direction of the reactant gas mixture flow, the rate of inert solid particles filled in the solid bed is increased.
