Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a rotary electric machine, in which magnetic fluxes generated in a stator are interlinked with a rotor coil as many as possible to increase an induction current generated in the rotor coil.SOLUTION: A rotor 14 includes a laminate formed by laminating a plurality of plate members 58 and 60 each including a steel plate, and includes a plurality of core elements 54 and 56 each wound by coils 28n, 28s, 30n and 30s. The core elements 54 and 56 each include: one auxiliary salient pole 42 formed between the two core elements 54 and 56 adjacent to each other so as to protrude from the one core element 54 and formed of the first plate member 58; and the other auxiliary salient pole 42 formed between the two core elements 54 and 56 adjacent to each other so as to protrude from the other core element 56 and formed of the first plate member 58. Pin holes 85 aligned with each other in an axial direction are formed in the auxiliary salient poles 42, respectively, and coupling pins 86 are inserted into the pin holes 85, respectively.
